The World Beer Directory is intended as a resource and informational guide for beer lovers everywhere. We hope that our efforts will create an easy to use online directory of everything beer and homebrew enthusiasts could look for related to their enjoyment of creating and consuming beer. The past 8 years I have been involved in online marketing, specifically, helping build some of the largest web site hosting companies on the internet. In the 1990’s I worked for the Karl Strauss Breweries in San Diego California and learned that there was far better beer to be had than those bottles lining the shelves of our local supermarkets. My goal for the World Beer Directory is to create a friendly, easy to use community for learning and appreciation better beer. I have always loved beer! About 7 years ago I passed by a home brewing store and decided to stopped in. After a lengthy conversation with the owner about the brewing process/equipment, I found myself walking out of the store with everything I needed for my first batch. As you can imagine, my new hobby had me visiting every brewery I could find and sampling every beer I could get my hands on. My friends and I soon realized that it would be almost impossible to sample every beer in the world. This is why the World Beer Directory was formed. Our mission at the World Beer Directory is to provide a platform that allows beer drinkers around the world to discuss their experiences and ideas. My background is in cable advertising sales. I spent the past 6 years working for some of the largest media companies in the world and recently decided to pursue my dream full time. Thank you for making this possible. Scott Gardner
