The Alaskan Brewing Company is probably the best known of all of the breweries located in Alaska. This brewery was founded in 1986 and has been the recipient of over 30 medals and awards from various beer festivals including the coveted “Best Beer in the Nation” which they won in 1988 at the Great American Beer Festival.
