This is one of the better ideas we have come across brought to you by the Olde Hickory Brewery is their Keg of the Month Club. The premise is that in today's world you can get great tasting beer shipped directly to you in as fresh a state as possible and certainly fresher than say an import from another continent. Their About Us give some great insight as to how this works and why this is such a great idea.

As I think about this premise and expand it out to several breweries in your area you could get several mini kegs from several breweries each month without needing too much storage capacity you could really have a tasting of say 10 beers with 20 or so people and everyone will get a healthy sample and it would be a good time.

By the way the cost on this club is very reasonable only $17 for the mini keg + shipping and you can opt for Yearly or Monthly contracts.

If you are a brewery, perhaps you should take note here, that we'd love to have more of these types of distribution opportunities for your craft brewed beers.
